In the last chapter, Pocahontas finally invites Andy over to meet Cinderella. Cinderella became astonished when she realized it wasn’t who she thought it was.
Why is he so blue? Cinderella thinks. I refuse to have blue children in this family.
Pocahontas introduces Andy to Cinderella. “Cinderella this is my boyfriend, Andy”
“Andy this is my Aunt. She’s been looking after me since my mom and dad passed away.”
Her boyfriend? Oh dear this will never do. I have to stop this. She needs a more human man in her life. Cinderella claims.
“It’s nice to meet you, Cinderella.” Andy says. “I have heard a lot about you.”
“I’m sure you have.” Cinderella states. “However I can’t say that I’ve heard much about you…
“Nevertheless, this togetherness you and Pocahontas have has got to end. Didn’t she tell you about her recent mate, Paxton? Well, if not, he’s a really nice human man. An athlete actually, for the local basketball-”
“Cinderella” Pocahontas interrupts. “A word.”
“One thing first, Pocahontas.” Redirects her focus to Andy. “Her future is already planned and guaranteed and you are not apart of it. I advise you to never interact with my daughter on an intimate level ever again. An alien, like you, will never understand how to treat or support financially a human young lady.”
“I promise I love Pocahontas.” Andy explains.
“That’s not love-” Cinderella starts to say.
“CINDERELLA. GO!” Pocahontas shouts.
“Watch your tone young lady.” Cinderella says as she walks into the dining area.
“This’ll only take a moment” Pocahontas tells Andy.
Meanwhile, Cindy harvests her plants.
Francesca finishes and publishes her 3rd book.
Aden uses the microscope.
and Erin paints the scenery.
“I don’t think Paxton would be so kind to find out that you were seeing someone else.” Cinderella states when they entered the dining room.
“What is your problem, Cinderella?” Pocahontas frustrates. “Why did you have to do that?”
“The only problem I have is that you invited an alien into this household. No one knows what that species may be planning, if anything. Regardless I was just telling him how much of a chance he doesn’t have with you. This way his time will be saved and his feelings spared.” Cinderella explains.
“That’s not your place to assess if he has a chance with me or not. That’s mine. I love him.” Pocahontas urges.
“You just became a young adult. You don’t even know what love is or the stench of it.” Cinderella says.
“Apparently, you don’t know what it is either. You forgot what it feels like haven’t you? How it feels to love someone.” Pocahontas says.
“My emotions have nothing to do with this current situation.” Cinderella declares. “Pocahontas, that boy, I just do not like him.”
“That’s what you don’t get, Cinderella.” Pocahontas explains. “He is not yours to like. But for me however, as I told you, I love him. You don’t even know him or his species. You won’t even give him a chance rather then telling him he has no chance. This is my life and I will live it how I want to. I make my own decisions.”
“Well as long as you live under my roof. You go by my rules. As the heir of this family, you need to take more responsibility. Have more consideration of this lineage. I don’t want you to ever see this alien ever again. He is banished from this house. Understand?” Cinderella demands.
“I will leave then. If I have to choose between this lineage and following my heart, I choose my heart. I hereby abandon the title of heir of this family.” Pocahontas decides confidently. “Don’t bother looking for me or coming after me. I don’t need anything you have to offer.”
Pocahontas and Andy leave the house with Cinderella unable to speak a word.
I’m really going to miss my family. Pocahontas thinks. There’s no turning back now.
“What happened in there, Pocahontas?” Andy asks.
“She’s just so frustrating. I couldn’t tolerate her any longer. We have to leave. I can never come back here again.” Pocahontas attempts to explain.
“It’s Ok, Pocahontas. You don’t ever have to come back here ever again. We can go wherever you want.” Andy assures. “Wherever.”
